Our candidate for Woodstock

Our candidate for Teynham & Lynsted

Ambrose is Labour’s candidate in Teynham and Lynsted.  He is a IT expert and works in the NHS. He has been out and about in the large ward listening to the many frustrations that people feel about being a sometimes forgotten ward between Sittingbourne and Faversham.

Our candidate for Sheppey East

Gill Smith is Labour’s candidate for Sheppey East.

Before retirement, Gill worked at Porchlight which involved helping people who had nowhere to go and no-one to turn to. Homelessness has many causes and Gill is really concerned that homelessness in Kent has reached crisis point.

Gill wants others to have the secure and affordable home she was fortunate enough to grow up on at a council estate in Sittingbourne. Gill wants to increase the number of affordable properties available to meet the desperate local need. She is committed to establishing a strong, unified Borough policy that would make providing socially rented and affordable housing a key priority.

Gill was previously Labour’s candidate in the Sheppey East by-election in 2018, recording a big increase in the Labour vote.

Our candidate for Sheppey Central

Paul Steele is Labour candidate for Central Ward. Paul has lived on the Island all his life and wants to see more to be done to tackle social hardship, in housing and in health.
