Over the last year we have held Saturday Action Days, mainly in Sheppey and in the north Sittingbourne wards of Kemsley, Milton Regis and Murston.
They are organised approximately on a monthly cycle and give us an opportunity to relate to people outside the election period. Of course, it is intended to build up our profile but it also expresses a contemporary Labour determination to connect with the voters.
This autumn’s Action Days will focus on the wards to the south of Sittingbourne whilst work which has begun continues on the Island. The first is on September 1st.
There are a range of activities planned: door knocking, telephoning, leaflet delivery and possibly a street stall in the Town Centre.
If you would like to get involved with these, please feel free to contact us.
